It was a Match from the start.
Vanessa’s line to Lawrence was “Hey Mr. Advertising Man” and she’s so happy it caught his eye! After meeting on Match.com almost 10 years ago and getting to know each other better via email/phone for a month, they met in person over Homemade Pasta + Red Wine + Frank Sinatra. And it sealed the relationship! (Fun Fact: While Lawrence’s pasta recipe is still used annually for their New Years tradition, Vanessa is the one now making it.)

And I F*cking Love You.
In the early morning of August 26, 2017 (totaling 8.8.8 — if you’re into numbers like us), laying in bed with Riley in-between them — Lawrence asked Vanessa, “How much do you love me?” With Vanessa’s confusion, Lawrence followed with “Show me how much you love me.” That’s when Vanessa’s heart started to pump and she reached into the dish they bought the weekend prior which read “I F*cking Love You” in gold script. Lawrence secretly planted the ring in the dish the night prior, and that’s how they started their Saturday morning.
